Roger Williams University
Roger Williams University, located in Bristol, Rhode Island, is a leading independent, coeducational university where liberal arts education is paired with education for the professions. With more than 40 majors and even more minors, you can choose your course of study or create it.
Last fall, the University began a journey to become more affordable, while constantly challenging faculty, staff and students to aim higher and achieve more. The result is our ongoing Affordable Excellence initiative.
What’s affordable? Well, the cost of higher education is continually on the rise at schools across the country. But at RWU, we’ve frozen tuition for the incoming class of 2014 at the 2012-2013 level. In addition, we’re guaranteeing that rate for all four years that you’ll be on campus. Taking into account the national average tuition hikes of 3 – 5% annually, that’s a potential savings of up to $15,000!
And what is it that makes Roger Williams University excellent? Ours is an open community dedicated to the success of students and providing a world-class education above all else. Hands-on opportunities abound for every RWU student and range from research with a professor to internships and externships and working on real-world projects through our Community Partnerships Center.
Personal attention is guaranteed on our campus, and professors (never graduate assistants) will teach all of your courses—even the introductory ones. Our student-to-faculty ratio is 14:1 and our class size averages just 19 students; so when we say personal attention we mean it.
Our students are training to become teachers, psychologists, lawyers, architects, engineers, business leaders and more. They’re making a difference every day. What will you do?
